Abstract:
An adjacent area information receiving method, an adjacent area information sending method, a terminal, and a base station, the method comprising: receiving reselection information sent by a network, the reselection information comprising the corresponding relationship between first information and second information, the first information comprising an adjacent area frequency point and/or adjacent area identifier, and the second information comprising public land mobile network PLMN and/or prohibit timer information, the prohibit timer information being used for indicating the time the terminal is prohibited from cell reselection on the target frequency point when a first event occurs. The present disclosure provides technical support for reducing or preventing the reselection delay caused by the terminal reselecting the non-home operator network during spectrum sharing; in addition, when the PLMN of the optimal cell at a certain frequency point is different to the PLMN to which the terminal belongs, by means of prohibiting the access of the terminal on the frequency point, the present disclosure can reduce or prevent same-frequency interference.
