Abstract:
The adjustable attachment comb for an electric hair clipper, comprising a chassis, an
adjusting wheel, a comb body and a cover body; the chassis is detachably connected to
the electric hair clipper at its blade position and provided with one recess corresponding
to the adjusting wheel, a central axle is provided in the recess; a cutaway is arranged
at an end of the chassis, with slots adjacent to the cutaway; another recess corresponding
to the cover body is provided in the chassis; part of the adjusting wheel is in the
form of a semicircle or a majority of a circle with a series of indentations of same
size provided therein; a central aperture corresponding to the central axle
is arranged at the center of the adjusting wheel; an arc guiding groove, one end
of which is next to the central aperture and the other end of which extends upwards
in the form of a convex curve, is provided in the other part of the adjusting wheel;
the adjusting wheel is disposed in the corresponding recess of the chassis, with
the central axle inserted into the central aperture from below upwards; the comb
body is provided with a row of comb teeth at one end thereof, while the other end
thereof is a positioning end with a guiding post arranged underneath; the positioning
end is disposed in the corresponding slots of the chassis, the guiding post is
inserted into the guiding groove, and the comb teeth are exposed at the cutaway
of the chassis; a protrusion corresponding to the indentations is provided below
the cover body, the cover body is fixedly disposed in the corresponding recess
of the chassis and the protrusion is placed in one of the indentations; the adjusting
wheel can be rotated around the central axle of the chassis, bringing the respective
indentation of the adjusting wheel into or out of the protrusion of the cover body
and moving the guiding post of the comb body along the guiding groove of the adjusting
wheel, causing the protruding or retracting movement of the comb teeth as the
adjusting wheel rotates. The invention is advantageous for its simple structure,
ease in using and cleaning and environmental friendliness.
