Abstract:
The invention concerns a branch connection device capable of being electrically welded, comprising a lower body (2) designed to be fixed on a pipe (6) whereon a branch connection is required, said lower body (2) having a general semi-cylindrical shape to fit on the pipe (6) and an upper body (3) comprising a radial extension in the form of a sleeve (8) for passing through means for perforating (14) the pipe (6) and a by-pass conduit (10); said lower body (2) and said upper body (3) being in contact by their respective bases (11, 12), the upper body (3) being mobile in rotation at 360 DEG relative to the lower body (2). The lower body (2) and the upper body (3) comprise a clipping system (17) enabling the upper body to be mounted (3) relative to the lower body (2), this being done before assembling by welding the lower body (2) and the upper body (3) on the pipe. The invention is useful for the branch connection of heat-bonded thermoplastic conduits.
