Abstract:
Disclosed are an adjustable deformation composite structure using a hydrogen-induced expansion effect and a preparation method therefor. The hydrogen-induced expansion effect means that some metals absorb hydrogen in a hydrogen atmosphere and at a certain temperature to produce a volume expansion effect. Reactions between the metals and hydrogen are reversible reactions. When the hydrogen partial pressure is reduced or the temperature is increased, the hydrogen in the metals can be removed, so that the metals can be restored to the original state thereof; and under the stimulation of external hydrogen and heat, a complex of a hydrogen-absorbing metal and another non-hydrogen-absorbing material can undergo an adjustable deformation as designed, such that the material can undergo a reversible shape change. Provided is a composite material structure with reversible and adjustable deformation at a medium-to-high temperature in a hydrogen-containing atmosphere and a preparation method therefor. The method can be used for a 4D printing composite material, and can be used for intelligent shape adjustments operating at a medium-to-high temperature.
