A golf trolley umbrella holder comprising;an attachment device arranged to attach the golf trolley umbrella holder to a golf trolley;an umbrella holding device comprising a hollow tube defining a first and second opening, the openings arranged to allow a passage of a part of an umbrella;a stop device for engaging the part of the umbrella, the stop device being movable from a first position in which the part of the umbrella cannot pass through the second opening, to a second position in which the part of the umbrella is able to pass through the second opening.
