Abstract:
A medical device and related method of use for resecting a tissue. The medical device may include an elongate member (102) having a proximal end 104), a distal end (106), and a lumen (108) extending therebetween. The elongate member may include a distal portion on which a hood (110) is ounte, te hood (110) defining a cavity (112) having an opening. Alterntively a sieve (50) extends along the length ofthe elongate member or exteds from its distlend, efining a cavity (112) having an opening. In addition, a mechanism (20, 202, 110) may be configured to adjust a volume of the cavity by altering a depth of the cavity.
