FOR THE CONSTR UCTION OF REG ULAR ARCHES.
TECHNICAL FIELD
The invention relates to the sector of accessories and equipment for building. In particular, it is about an adjustable and reusable arch- forming assembly having a flexible sheet element apt to support building materials for the construction of a regular arch. BACKGROUND ART
It is known that for the constructions of arches, generally we use a wooden structure or we often provide the realization of a structure in the yard made just for the occasion and non-reusable. These solutions are functional but they result less convenient both as for the economic profile and time required for the job. To try solving such problems, we created some solutions comprising some structures made of metal material. An example of such solution is represented by the patent US60001 93 which comprises a metal structure done with a central support and two lateral rods; over such elements there is a sheet in metal material apt to be a support. The main feature of such solution is that both the support and the rods are equipped with regulation screws which change the length; in this way, the structure of the support of the flexible element is changed and a support structure is made of the arch according to the desired size and shape. Although such a solution solves the problems we quoted, because it is reusable and adjustable, it introduces some problems linked to the realization of regular arches. Specifically, the fact that the different regulations present on the structural elements are not synchronized between them does not allow to have a supporting structure which is perfectly symmetrical and if we were able to do it, we would risk a time of work extremely high and not cheap.
However, the current status of the technique and the existing patents can not solve these critical aspects. DISCLOSURE OF INVENTION
The above mentioned invention aims at overcoming techniques and equipments known in the building field of structures for the realization of arches.
One of the main tasks of the actual discovery consists in solving the inconveniences and the problems making an arch-forming assembly equipped with a flexible sheet element apt to support building materials for the building of a regular arch which is reusable and adjustable according to the dimension of the arch.
Another purpose is to make a arch-forming assembly equipped with a flexible element for placing construction materials thereon for building a regular arch which requires times of work which are extremely reduced.
Another purpose is to make a arch-forming assembly equipped with a flexible element for placing construction materials thereon for the building of a regular arch which does not need the use of specialized workforce. Due to the above mentioned purposes and of many more, it is provided in accordance to the invention of an arch-forming assembly which is reusable and adjustable equipped with a flexible element for placing construction materials thereon for building a regular arch, comprising a cylindrical element to ring-like on the external surface equipped with at least three stirrups with a radial development, at least a cylindrical element to ring-like section inner threaded equipped with on external surface at least three stirrups with radial development, a threaded bar equipped, to an end, with extension on which is constrained in rotation the cylindrical element and the other extremity apt to cooperate with the threaded part of said cylindrical element, a rod pair for each of the three stirrups, form one side respectively fixed to such stirrups, by the other side equipped with threaded profiles apt to mutually engage, at least a tubular element to form of "T", for each rod pairs, apt to sliding maintain the flexible element and fixed to the rods in correspondence of the extremities by means of brackets characterized by the fact that the rotation of the threaded bar results in the translational movement of the cylindrical element which respectively is associated the opening or the closing of rods and the following variation of the radius of curvature of the structure supporting the flexible element.
According to the invention, the adjustable and reusable arch-forming assembly includes a support on which there is a vertical element and two horizontal adjustable elements for fixing and centering compared to the opening on which crate the arch. With particular reference to such figures, object of such a patent application, it is a reusable and adjustable arch-forming assembly ( 1 ) equipped with a flexible element (2) for placing construction materials thereon for building a regular arch. Preferably, said flexible element (2) is made up by a stripe in metal material, aluminium, iron or other or plastic material like a multilayer lamina, of various size according to the thickness of brickwork.
The length of such a stripe is fixed and is determined by the length of maximum arch that the same arch-forming assembly is able to produce. Said arch-forming assembly will be built in different sizes or dimensions, each to cover a particular range of openings. Obviously, according to the size, not only the flexible element (2) will be proportioned but also other building elements as we will see after.
Said arch-forming assembly ( 1 ) comprises a cylindrical element (3), with a ring-like on the external surface equipped with at least three stirrups at radial development (3a). Said cylindrical element (3) to ringlike section, made in metal material, is such to house a bearing as to be bound to the threaded bar where we will talk about later. The three stirrups with a radial development (3a) are positioned, symmetrically placed, along the hemispheric surface of the cylindrical element (3) to ring-like.
The arch-forming assembly, obj ect of such application, includes at least one cylindrical element (4) to ring-like section inner threaded (4b) equipped of on external surface at least three stirrups with radial development (4a). Said cylindrical element (4) to ring-like section, made of metal material, which is specular compared to the cylindrical element (3) is able to cooperate with the threaded bar. The three stirrups with radial development (4a) are placed, symmetrically positioned along the hemispheric surface of the cylindrical element (4) to ring-like.
According to the invention, the arch-forming assembly included a threaded bar (5) equipped to an extremity of an extension (5a) on which is constrained in rotation of the cylindrical element (3) and the other extremity (5b) apt to cooperate with the threaded part (4b) of such a cylindrical element (4); such an extension (5a) has a circular transversal section as to get to the cylindrical element (3) equipped with rotation bearing. Such solution will allow the threaded bar (5) to freely rotate leaving unchanged the position of the bound cylindrical element (3). The other extremity (5b) of the threaded bar (5) will help the cylindrical element (4). This will allow that according to the rotation way of the threaded bar we make the straight translational movement of approaching and of separation of the cylindrical element bout from the fixed cylindrical element (3).
The arch-forming assembly, obj ect of such patent application, includes a rod pair (6, 7) for each of at least the three stirrups (3a, 4a), on one side (6a, 7a) respectively fixed to (3a, 4a), by the other side (6b, 7b) equipped of threaded profiles (6c, 7c) apt to mutually engage. Such brackets made in metal material are fixed to the stirrups (3a, 4a) through join elements which are dismountable like bolts through join elements which are not dismountable like rivets. In both cases such fixing must allow the rotation of the rod compared to the stirrup. As for the superior part of the rods, these equipped of toothed profile as to mutually engage to create a very precise system of gears for the above structure as we will see after.
Finally, the arch-forming assembly comprises at least a tubular element (8) to form of "T" per each road pair (6, 7) apt to sliding maintain the flexible element and fixed to the rod pairs (6, 7) in correspondence of the extremities (6b, 7b) for means of brackets (9).
It will be possible to preview some elements of holding associated to the tubular element (8); said elements preferably with an inverted "L" form maintain and bound the flexible stripe (2). Such a solution allows the movement and the adjustment of the structure forming the arch- forming assembly.
According to the different building modes, the flexible element (2) is hold and fixed through a screw or similar systems on the tubular element (8) forming a median "T".
In fact, in the case where stirrups (3a, 4a), and the related structures, are present in an odd number, the flexible element will be fixed on the central element. Therefore, the central structural element will remain fixed only varying its height compared to the threaded bar, at the same time the other structural elements will vary their position in function of the adj ustment received by the threaded bar supporting and sliding on the flexible element (2) which is fixed at the center.
In the case where the stirrups (3 a, 4a) and the structures connected, present in even number, the flexible element will be fixed through screws or similar systems on two median and central elements. Therefore, the two central structural elements will stay fixed only varying their height compared to the threaded bar, at the same time the other structural elements will vary their own position due to the adjustment received by the threaded bar supporting and sliding on the flexible element (2) which is fixed at the center.
Moreover, the fixing of the structural element (8) to the rods (6, 7) in correspondence of the extremities (6b, 7b) for means of brackets (9) happens through join elements which are dismountable like bolts or through join elements which are not dismountable like rivets. In both cases, such a fixing must grant the block of the structural element (8) compared to the (6, 7).
Adjustable and reusable arch-forming assembly ( 1 ) having a flexible sheet element (2) for placing construction materials thereon for building a regular arch, according to what described and characterized by the fact that the rotation of the threaded bar (5) results in the translational movement of the cylindrical element (4) where it is associated the opening or closing of rods (6, 7) and the consequent variation of radius of curvature of the structure of the flexible sheet element (2) of support.
The opening or closing of the rods (6, 7) connected and determined by the rotation of the threaded bar (5) allows the adjustment, or the variation, of the radius of the arch to make, granting that all rods (6 and 7) each of the stirrups (3a and 4a) are opened or closes ensuring the building of a regular arch, also in presence of brickwork surfaces which are damaged. The reusable and adjustable arch-forming assembly ( 1 ) is placed on a support ( 10) equipped with a vertical element ( l Oa) and of two horizontal elements (10b) which are adjustable. The element (lOa) includes a transversal housing (10c) for the placement of the threaded bar (5).
Moreover, according to the different ways of building, the extension (5a) of the threaded bar (5) comprises a clutch to squares section (5c) apt to connect a crank or a mechanical tool.
According the building mode, exposed for the use and the pose in the work of the reusable and adjustable arch-forming assembly object of the present application will be enough that the user places the support ( 10) adjusting the vertical element (10a) according to the radius of the arch to build and the two horizontal elements (lOb) until the diameter of the arch to make which corresponds with the width of the opening. After, it will place the arch-forming assembly on which it has been fixed in lateral or median position the flexible element (2), placing the threaded bar on the housing (10c) and trying to expand or shrink the structure until covering the size of the arch. At this point it will be enough to place under voltage through a wire or similar system, the two extremities of the flexible element (2) as to make them completely adhere to the support structure; the structure is ready to be loaded with the building materials for the building of the arch.
A second application (fig 1 0, 1 1 , 22) of the reusable and adjustable arch-forming assembly ( 1 ) object of the present application, related to an adjustable and reusable arch-forming assembly ( 1 ) having a flexible sheet element apt to support building materials for the construction of a regular arch, comprising at least two cylindrical elements (4) to ring-like section inner threaded (4b) with opposite thread, equipped with the external surface at least three stirrups with radial development, a threaded bar apt to cooperate with the threaded parts of such two cylindrical element, a rod pair for each of the three stirrups, form one side respectively fixed to such stirrups, by the other side equipped with threaded profiles apt to mutually engage, at least a tubular element to form of "T", for each rod pair (6, 7), apt to sliding maintain the element flexible and fixed to the rods in correspondence of the extremities by means of brackets characterized by the fact that the rotation of the threaded bar results in the opposite translational movement of the cylindrical elements to which respectively is associated the opening or the closing of rods and the following variation of the radius of curvature of the structure supporting the flexible element.
According to such an application, the supporting structure of the flexible element (2) is placed and fixed through an anchoring system of the threaded bar (5) in the point (5d) on a support ( 10) equipped with a vertical element ( l Oa) and of two horizontal elements (10b) which are adjustable. The element (10a) includes a transversal housing (10c) apt to support and guide the sliding of the two cylindrical elements (4).
Said second modality simplifies and maximizes the use of the adjustable and reusable arch-forming assembly object of the present application. In particular it will be enough that the user places the support ( 10) and the arch-forming fixed on it, adjusting the vertical element (10a) according to the radius of the arch to make and the two horizontal elements (10b) until the diameter of the arch to make which corresponds with the width of the opening. After, it will be enough to expand or shrink the structure of the arch-forming assembly until covering the size of the arch without the need to worry about the centering of the supporting structure of the arch compared to the existing wall which is self-adjusting. At this point, the structure is ready to be loaded with the building materials for the building of the arch.
The reusable and adjustable ( 1 ) arch-forming assembly has the following advantages:
> Reduced exposition time: thanks to the simple and reliable system of adjustment of the structure it will be possible to vary the base diameter of the arch;
Modularity; the arch-forming assembly with its system allows to get arches of various sizes for any exigencies;
> Reusability: the arch-forming after its use is dismantled, washed and is ready to be reused.
