Abstract:
An adjustable spanner with an asymmetric double-splayed jaw and a ratchet function, comprising a spanner body (1). The top of the spanner body (1) is provided with a jaw formed by a left jaw piece and a right jaw piece. Opposite sides of the two jaw pieces are each provided with a splayed cambered surface (4), so that the jaw pieces are in contact with a nut at four sides. The two opposite cambered surfaces are each provided with an arc-shaped groove (5) in the middle, so as to prevent sharp corners of the nut from being damaged. Thus, at least four surfaces of a nut are under stress, so that the average stress on each surface is reduced; moreover, when a nut fastened under the same condition is detached, the surfaces of the nut and the spanner are not easy to be damaged.
