Description:
ADJUSTABLE STRUCTURAL JOINERY FRAME POSITIONER WITH BUILDING INTO WALL OPENINGS Description of the Invention 1. Technical field to which the invention refers Invention relates to the technical field marked by E 06B according to the International Classification of Patents.

2. Technical problem for the solution of which a patent protection is requested It is known that with the construction of the structures, for which windows and doors are foreseen, the openings in walls are left in corresponding dimensions into which the construction joinery, windows and doors are built later on.

Those openings in walls are of somewhat larger dimensions than outer dimensions of the frames of construction joinery, windows and doors, in order to make the installing of construction joinery into those wall openings possible in the way to make the final fastening of the construction joinery, windows and doors, into the openings of the structure walls, by inserting a corresponding material between outer surfaces of construction joinery, windows and walls.

As it is known, it is desirable and one always tries to build-in the construction joinery, window and door frames, with minimal consumption of time and materials, into designed openings of the walls so that the distance between external four surfaces of the frames of the construction joinery, windows and doors, and corresponding four internal surfaces of the openings in walls, can be achieved as requested, with enough precision, within the given limits.

Technical problem which is being resolved, refers to the solution and execution of an adjustable device for setting outer surfaces of the frame of the construction joinery against the internal surfaces of the wall openings, by means of which it is possible to achieve that the positioning prior to final fixing with the installation of construction joinery, frames of the windows or the doors, into the foreseen openings of the walls can be executed, with the minimal consumption of time and materials, so that the distance between external surfaces of the frames of construction joinery, windows or doors, and corresponding interior surfaces of wall openings, can be achieved on spot, as wished, within given limits dictating the dimensions of the construction joinery and wall openings foreseen for its installation.

3. State of the art With temporary positioning, prior to final fixing, of the frames of construction joinery into the wall openings, out of the series of requests, in the first place, that one to meet the request for achieving the wished distances between external surfaces of the frames of construction joinery and internal surfaces of the wall openings, within satisfactory limits of precision, represents a key challenge the successful solution of which represents, for the civil engineering contractors all over the world, the everyday tasks which have been resolved in many ways and with numerous improvisations, whereby it is always the question of a long time consumption with the need of simultaneous engaging an increased number of executors and without achieving satisfactory precision.

Various procedures and tools are used, made mainly improvised at the place of installing, to achieve positioning prior to the final fixing with the installation of the construction joinery, frames of windows or doors, into designed openings of the walls, in which one tries to achieve, on spot, to meet the known requests.

The most often met practice, to perform positioning prior to the final fixation is executed by means of the insertion of wooden wedges, having certain forms and dimensions, between the external surface of the lower frame of construction joinery and adequate interior surface of the wall openings, after what the frame of construction joinery is suitably fixed and after that, by means of measuring the distance of external surfaces of the frames of construction joinery and corresponding internal wall openings, and the measuring necessary corrections of the position of the frame of construction joinery is established in order to achieve satisfactory set distances, as a rule to achieve, besides the set surface distances, also their parallelism. According to that improvised practice and available aids, the performing of the correction of those positions represents an exceptional and painstaking job of a long duration as it consists of iterative procedures of achieving the positions of the frames of construction joinery and permanent and multiple measurements of achieved efforts to reach the corresponding wished for distances by means of which it is tried to achieve the best possible parallelism too.

In spite of consuming a lot of time, it is uncertain whether the precision of the distance between any of the external surfaces of the frames of construction joinery, of the windows and doors, and corresponding interior surface of the wall containing the opening for installing will be achieved, i. e. to achieve, beside required distances of the surfaces, also their parallelism.

Among the solutions met in practice, and commercial literature, as well as the literature on patents, no cases of a direct resolving the problems are known in the way that the spacing between any two opposite surfaces, i. e. the external surface of the frame of construction joinery, the frames of windows and doors, and corresponding interior surface of the wall opening for installing, can be achieved on spot with a high precision and without long engagement of several executors, what means that beside the required spacing of the surfaces, also their parallelism is achieved.

All up till now known solutions, including also those in the literature of the patents, e. g. : OS 1 810 140, AS 1 161 674, PS 1 137 197 and WO 98/01647 foresee drilling in the wail, what requests consuming a lot of time, several executors, whereby the achieving a great precision of boring is requested and large interventions in case of required corrections, what points to an exceptionally small flexibility of such technical solutions.

4. Resolving of the technical problem according to the invention Technical solution as per the invention refers to the solution of such an arrangement by means of the use of which, using a temporary positioning of the frames of construction joinery prior to the final fastening into foreseen wall openings, with achieving the desired spacing, within a given tolerance limits between the external surfaces of the frames of construction joinery in relation to the interior surface of the opening in the wall, a new approach is realized in relation to the known status of the technique in the world with the simultaneous achieving numerous advantages of technologic nature which are reflected as more favourable technically and technologically and conclusively, through much better economic indicators.

For adequate representing the structure of the technical solution, according to the invention, the picture 1, picture 2 and picture 3 are used.

Picture 1: presents the examples of a certain position of the frames of construction joinery within the wall opening, with the indicated relevant distances between the surfaces; Picture 2: is a schematic illustration of the structure of the component elements of the technical solution of adjustable positioner of the position of construction joinery frame in the opening of the wall for installing ; Picture 3: presents example of the built-in adjustable positioner.

Presented example of a certain position of the construction joinery within a wall opening, with the indicated relevant spacing is given in the picture 1, whereby the schematic illustration presents that the opening OW was made in the wall W, bordered by four interior surfaces UPOW, within which the frame of construction joinery OGS is to be installed, and the four external surfaces of which are VPGS.

It is desirable, and one always tries to perform the installing of the frames of construction joinery into foreseen wall opening in the way that within a shortest possible time, and with consumption as little material as possible, using a suitable device, it can be achieved that the distances"d"between external surfaces of construction joinery (VPGS) and internal surfaces of the wall openings (UPOW), as requested, are within a given borders around the whole external edge of the frames of construction joinery, what in reality means that, using the marks in the picture 1, it is possible to achieve the required dimensions of the spacing marked in fig. 1 by: dpl, dpd, dgl, dgd, did, digl ddd and ddg.

From the schematic diagram of the structure and component elements of the solution of adjustable positioner at the position of the frames of construction joinery in the wall opening into which it is to be installed, picture 2, it follows that the positioner consists of the following basic component elements : - SUPPORTING NUT, item 1 ; - SUPPORTING NUT JACKET, item 1.1 ; - THREAD OF SUPPORTING NUT, item 1.2 ; - REAR SURFACE OF SUPPORTING NUT, item 1.3 ; - EXTERNAL COVER OF SUPPORTING NUT, item 1.4 ; - OUTER EDGE OF THE JACKET OF SUPPORTING NUT, item 1.5 ; - ADJUSTING SCREW, item 2; - ADJUSTMENT SCREW HEAD, item 2.1, or/and item 2.3 ; - SCREW THREAD, item 2. 2; - THREADS OF SUPPORTING NUT AND ADJUSTING SCREW, item 1/2 - FIXING PLATE, item 3; -FIXING POINT OF THE PLATE, item 3.1 ; - FITTING SURFACE OF THE FIXING PLATE, position 3.2 ; - PIVOTING JOINT OF ADJUSTABLE SCREW AND FIXING PLATE, position 2/3.

Adjustable positioner of the location of the frame of construction joinery, consisting of above-mentioned components and the parts executed in suitable sizes which correspond to the concrete requirements, which are schematically presented in the picture 2, enables to achieve the spacing as requested, between the fitting surface of the fixing plate, item 3.2, and the rear surface of the supporting nut, item 1.3, what comes out in practice to achieving the distance, "d", between the internal surface of the wall opening, UPOV, and external surface of the frame of construction joinery, VPGS, as presented in the fig. 3.

Required position of the external surfaces of the frames of construction joinery against the interior surfaces of the wall opening surfaces is achieved with the installing by means of a adjustable positioner so that one makes certain number of bores of a suitable diameter which is somewhat larger than the external diameter of the supporting nuts, most often six or eight ones, in the frame, vertically to external surfaces of the frame of construction joinery, and the positioners are inserted into the bores so that the fixing plates are turned towards interior surfaces of the wall openings into which the frame of construction joinery is installed by means of turning the adjusting screw, item 2 at the fig.

2 to the left or the right-hand side, using in a corresponding way produced adjusting screw head, item 2.1 or item 2.3 at the fig. 2, for the application of the suitable manual tools for adjusting screw turning, by means of which the distance"d"is increased or reduced between the external surface of the frame of construction joinery, VPGS, and interior surface of the wall opening, UPOW, fig. 3.

Besides the positioners made in the sizes which are suitable for a concrete case, and with the positioners installed in the foreseen way, fig. 3, by turning the adjusting screw in order to achieve required mutual axial positions of the adjusting screws, item 2, fig. 2 and supporting nuts, item 1 at the fig. 2, it is possible to place the frame of construction joinery into the wall opening whereby by means of turning the screws in necessary directions, one achieves required distances"d"between interior surfaces of wall opening and external surfaces of the frame of construction joinery.

In the very nature of things, the most practical is to start with achieving required distances between the lower external surface of the frame of construction joinery and the lower interior surface of the wall opening, respectively the distances marked in the picture 1 by: dpl dpd.

Therefore, the fixing of the first pair of positioners is carried out first below the lower part of the frame of construction joinery and the same procedure is repeated with fixing the remaining positioners in the topside parts of the frame of construction joinery respectively the wall opening for installing the joinery.

The pointed parts of the fixing plate, item 3.1, fig. 2, are leant against interior surface of the wall opening, UPOW, by means of their penetration into the wall, they prevent the rotation of the fixing plate with the rotation of the adjusting screw, what results, together with prevented turning of the supporting nut, that only the adjusting screw is rotated by means of what, only the distance"d"between the interior surface of the wall opening and external surface of the joinery frame is changed.

Identical procedure is executed with installing all the types of construction joinery as e. g. the frames of windows, doors and various walls.

Using adjustable positioner in described way, the wished for distances are achieved between the external surfaces of the frames of construction joinery and interior surfaces of waif openings into which the joinery is installed.

Hinged execution of the adjusting screw joint, item 2 and fixing plate, item 3, marked by item 2/3, fig. 2, enables necessary leaning and adjusting of a fixing plate against the interior surfaces of the wall opening and also enables the rotation of the adjustable screw without rotation of the fixing plate, which is not desirable.

The wall at the side of interior surfaces of the wall opening is not necessary to be bored for installing construction joinery into the openings in the wall, what is otherwise made with other solutions.

Positioner enables all necessary corrections and adjusting prior to achieving all the wished distances, respectively prior to starting with the final fixation of the frame of construction joinery into wall openings, what is much more difficult, and is predominantly impossible, with other solutions which request boring in the wall.
