Abstract:
An adjustable wrench, comprising a first arm (30) and a ratchet assembly (20, 50) rotatably assembled to the first arm, wherein the ratchet assembly comprises a direction changing component (24, 56) and a drive component (25, 52, 53, 516, 517). The ratchet assembly is configured such that when the direction changing component is at a first position, the drive component enables the first arm to rotate in a first direction, when the direction changing component is at a second position, the drive component enables the first arm to rotate in a second direction, and the first direction is reverse to the second direction. By providing a torque force to the first arm via the ratchet assembly, the first arm is enabled to have a function similar to a function of a one-way clutch. The adjustable wrench further comprises a second arm (10), and can be switched to a wrench form or a screwdriver form by means of adjusting an angle between the first arm and the second arm.
