Abstract:
The present application relates to the field of communications. Provided are an adjustment method and adjustment apparatus for connected discontinuous reception (CDRX). The adjustment method comprises: receiving indication information sent by a network device, wherein the indication information is used for determining the starting moment of an on duration timer in CDRX; and adjusting the starting moment of the on duration timer according to the indication information. On the basis of the solution of the present application, a user equipment can adjust the starting moment of an on duration timer in CDRX according to indication information, such that the starting moment of the on duration timer in the CDRX matches a cycle of a service data frame, and thus it is ensured that the user equipment can transmit the service data frame at the on duration timer in the CDRX, thereby realizing the energy saving of the user equipment.
