Abstract:
The invention relates to an adjustment technique for combustion system comprising an electrostatic surface neutralization equipment on solid surface. The adjustment technique reduces the mixing ratio between fuel and air flowing into the combustion chamber in accordance with the measured amount of oxygen or carbon monoxide in the flue gas when the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment is installed on the solid surfaces of the air pipes, the fuel pipes, the air fans, or the air blowers in the combustion system. This adjustment technique leads to saving of the fuel energy of the combustion system.

Claims

The adjustment technique for combustion reaction when using with the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment on the solid surface is used when this equipment is installed on the solid surface of the air pipes, the fuel delivery pipes, the air fans, or the air blowers having oxygen or nitrogen flows inside to the eombustion chamber in order to eombust with fuels or hydrocarbons to produce heat, the flue gas can be measured its contents of oxygen or carbon monoxide which can determine the combustion efficiency where they can be further considered for the better composition of fuel and air, by using the technique of reducing the mixing ratio between fuel and air entering into the combustion chamber that eventually will lead to the energy saving of that combustion system.

The adjustment technique for combustion reaction when using with the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment on the solid surface of the previous claim, wherein the installation locations of the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment must be installed on the surface that another side of this solid surface has the air, oxygen or nitrogen flowing on it, for example install the equipment on the outside surface of the air pipes or air ducts that may have any diameters, any length, any shapes such as tubular or rectangular, or any curve ways to assist the air flow, this air pipe is to deliver the air, oxygen, nitrogen or fuels into the eombustion ehamber where the size of equipment is not limited to the size of pipe areas, for example installing the equipment on the full areas or partial areas along the length of the pipes, and any type of pipe materials.

The adjustment technique for combustion reaction when using with the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment on the solid surface of any of the previous claims, wherein the installation location of the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment can be installed on the outside surface of the air fans or air blowers in order to deliver the air, oxygen or nitrogen into the combustion chamber, the fan may have any diameters, any shapes such as the circular shape, the rectangular shapes and some parts of the air fans may have the curve ways to assist the air flow, the size of equipment is not limited to the size of fan casing areas, for example installing on the full areas or partial areas along the length of the fan casing, the equipment can be installed on any type of fan casing materials.

The adjustment technique for combustion reaction when using with the eleetrostatie surfaee neutralization equipment on the solid surface of any of the previous claims wherein after the installation of the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment which another side of the solid surfaee having flows of air, oxygen or nitrogen, the combustible fuel types or hydrocarbons can be any gaseous fuels, natural gas, biogas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), synthetic gas, any liquid fuels, gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, any solid fuels, coal, husks, biomass, or any fuels combustible with air or oxygen to produce heat. 5. This adjustment technique know-how for combustion reaction covers any other equipment that may composes of several solid flat sheets with different materials combining into several layers similarly to the reference equipment, provided that those other equipment are for the neutralization of electrostatic on the solid surface, install on the air pipe, the fuel-air pipe, the outside of the air fan casing, or any other solid surface having air, oxygen or nitrogen flowing on another side of such solid surface.

THE ADJUSTMENT TECHNIQUE FOR COMBUSTION REACTION WHEN USING WITH THE ELECTROSTATIC SURFACE NEUTRALIZATION EQUIPMENT ON THE SOLID SURFACE Technical field of the invention

Field of study related to the invention is the field of chemical engineering. This invention is the know-how thinking technique method for the fuels and air ©r oxygen composition flows into the combustion reaction when using together with the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment attached on a solid surface, where another side of this solid surface has air, oxygen or nitrogen. This invention aims to develop the method that practically work effectively at any site of combustion. The objective is to increase the combustion efficiency between the oxygen and the fuels or hydrocarbons towards the complete combustion reaction in order to promote the fuel energy savings. Fuels or hydrocarbons can be the gaseous fuels such as natural gas, biogas, or the liquid fuels such as liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, or the solid fuels such as coal, husks, woodchips, biomass or including any other fuels that are able to combust with air or oxygen to produce heat. This adjustment technique know-how will result in the better emission qualities such as reduce the sooth, the smoke or hydrocarbons in the stack gas emitted from industrial factories.

Background or fundamental knowledges

The background or the fundamental knowledges is related to the natural movement of the gaseous moleeules sueh as air, oxygen or nitrogen travelling or moving inside the air pipes, air tubes, air blowers, air fans or air ducts. When the air or oxygen is needed for eombustion, these air-supply deviees will pressurize the air and push all air molecules be closed to each other. When several air molecules are located vicinity very near eaeh other, the molecular distance among them will beeome shorter. Their protons and electrons of a molecule can affect the intermolecular forces to the protons and electrons of the other molecules, which are called the intermolecular attractive force and repulsive force among the atoms and molecules nearby each other. The net balance of these intermolecular forces results in these molecules attach closer and closer with each other and become clusters of several molecules. These clusters have big molecular boundary sizes and flow together into the combustion chamber such as in boilers, furnaces in steel industry, kilns in ceramic industry, forging furnaces, frying chamber in food industries, rotary kilns in cement industry, thermal boilers in power stations, lime production process, glass furnace process, combustion furnaces using synthetic gas from the gasification process, or the heat exchangers in drying processes those use air, oxygen and nitrogen as the heat transfer carriers, etc.

Disclosure of the invention

The know-how of the adjustment technique for combustion reaction between fuels and air flow compositions when using with the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment on the solid surface for the energy saving must follow these steps below.

Step 1 : The study of the operating data related to the working behaviors and the current status of the combustion equipment must be performed before any installation of the eleetrostatie surfaee neutralization equipment. The study eovers:

• Type of fuel, phase of fuel, quantity or fuel flow rate, fuel delivery method into the combustion ehamber Quantity and air flow rate or oxygen flow rate, type of air flow equipment such as air fans, air blowers, air pumps or air duct.

Nozzles or burners that are used to mix fuels and air or oxygen prior to the combustion chamber

Combustion quality by measuring the oxygen and carbon monoxide in the flue gas

Type of the induced fan that sucks the flue gas out after the combustion chamber

Step 2: Install the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment onto the correct location number 1 , 2, or 3 or combining them together which depends on the appropriate piping or air fan layout for such combustion equipment as follows.

• Location number 1 as shown in figure 1: The equipment can be installed on (1) the outside surface of the air pipe or air duet (2). The pipe may have any diameters, any shapes such as the tubular shape, the rectangular shapes and some parts of pipe may have the eurve ways to assist the air flew. The size of the eleetrostatie neutralization equipment is not limited to the size of pipe areas, for example installing on the full areas or partial areas along the length of the air pipe. The equipment can be installed on any type of pipe materials. · Location number 2 as shown in figure 2: The equipment can be installed on (1) the outside surface of the fuel pipe that mix with air (3), for example the pneumatic coal pipe. The pipe may have any diameters, any shapes such as the tubular shape, the rectangular shapes and some parts of pipe may have the curve ways to assist the fuel air flow. The size of the electrostatic neutralization equipment is not limited to the size of pipe areas, for example installing on the full areas or partial areas along the length of the fuel-air pipe. The equipment ean be installed on any type of pipe materials.

Location number 3 as shown in figure 3: The equipment can be installed on fan casing (4) that will have the discharge direction (5) to flow oxygen or nitrogen to the combustion equipment. The fan may have any diameters, any shapes such as the circular shape, the rectangular shapes, or some parts of the air fans may have the curve ways to assist the air flow. The size of the electrostatic neutralization equipment is not limited to the size of fan casing areas, for example installing on the full areas or partial areas along the length of the fan casing. The equipment can be installed on any type of fan casing materials.

Step 3: After installing the electrostatic neutralization equipment on the solid surface as abovementioned locations, the next technique is to measure the eembustion degree of fuel and oxygen using the standard gas analyzer at the flue gas, specifically measure the oxygen (O2) and the earbon monoxide (CO).

Step 4: The technique must further adjust the flowrate of fuel and air for the combustion, and must measure the oxygen data before and after the eqmpment installation. This technique can be used with all fuel types or hydrocarbons that are able to combust with oxygen, for example the gaseous fuels, natural gas, biogas, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), synthetic gas, liquid fuels, gasoline, diesel, fuel oil, solid fuels, coal, husks, biomass, or any fuels combustible with air or oxygen to generate heat, by using the following know-how.

• If the measured oxygen after the equipment installation increases, the quantity of air must be reduced; this will result in fuel savings.

• If the measured oxygen after the equipment installation is as same as before the installation, and the measured carbon monoxide after the equipment installation reduces, the quantity of air must be reduced; this will result in fuel savings.

• If the measured oxygen after the equipment installation is as same as before the installation, and the measured carbon monoxide after the equipment installation is also as same as before the installation, the quantity of air must be reduced; this will result in fuel savings.

• If the measured oxygen after the equipment installation reduces, the situation will result in the better emission, or to reduce the quantity of air in order to fuel savings. Summary of the invention

This invention is the know-how thinking technique method for the fuels and air or oxygen composition flows into the combustion reaction when using together with the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment attached on a solid surface, where another side of this solid surface has air, oxygen or nitrogen. This invention aims to develop the method that practically work effectively at any site of combustion. Brief description of drawings

Figure 1 shows the installation location of the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment outside the pipe that has air, oxygen, nitrogen flowing inside the pipe.

Figure 2 shows the installation location of the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment outside the fuel pipe that has air, oxygen, nitrogen as the compositions flowing together inside the fuel pipe.

Figure 3 shows the installation location of the electrostatic surface neutralization equipment outside the air fan easing that has oxygen, nitrogen flowing inside the air fan. The best method for this invention

This invention has the industrial applicability in chemical engineering, combustion reaction such as in boilers, furnaces in steel industry, kilns in ceramic industry, forging furnaces, frying chamber in food industries, rotary kilns in cement industry, thermal boilers in power stations, lime production process, glass furnace process, combustion furnaces using synthetic gas from the gasification process, or the heat exchangers in drying processes those use air, oxygen and nitrogen as the heat transfer carriers.
