Abstract:
Disclosed is an administrative area division verification method, comprising: acquiring an area name of an administrative area (202); loading, according to the area name, an electronic map corresponding to the administrative area wherein the administrative area is divided into multiple sub-areas on the electronic map (204); acquiring a number of insurance policies corresponding to the area name and a number of road sections corresponding to the area name (206); verifying the multiple sub-areas of the administrative area by means of the number of insurance policies and the number of road sections corresponding to the area name (208); and if the verification is successful, recording the multiple sub-areas of the administrative area as valid sub-areas (210).
