The State of Art

In braided precious metals and some designs which are integrated with them for use in the adornment field as jewelleries, valuable products are manufactured from precious/worthless materials. Products that are manufactured from the said precious metals can be bracelets, necklaces, earrings, rings and similar jewelleries. Elements such as gold and silver are commonly used as precious metals in the adornment field. In some of the braided or straw - looking jewelleries, leather material can find itself a field of use as precious/worthless material in addition to precious metals. Leather material which is in form of long strips can be used in the form of braided designs by means of being braided with each other.

In addition, in production of the straw weave or chain - looking jewelleries, precious metals can be embedded into one another in chain or braided form. Most of the time, the said braided or chain structure is one design on its own. In recent times, however, pieces such as patterned or stone buckles or clips can be also fitted onto it.

A file which is contained in the literature for the product that is obtained by means of using these types of materials; and the production method of it is the patent numbered TR200905571 and is entitled "A straw bracelet which has self-patterned portion of braid and its production method". The invention is a method for the production of a straw bracelet's braid segment which comprises a multiple number of weaving cords, which are manufactured from a precious metal, extending in parallel at least sufficient rate to each other; and is characterized in that; it comprises the step of production of the braid part using the groups of strand that are obtained by means of wringing at least two of the said weaving cords with each other.

In current situation, there are braided bracelets; however, in between the bracelets which are braided in the existing systems, there is not an insertion (decorative) piece which is durable and serves as a stabilizer for the said straw groups. Detailed description of the Invention

The adornment embodiment according to the invention, as mentioned in the state of art, is an embodiment which comprises adornment materials (1 ) that are flexible or inflexible; can be in form of braided wire cords between themselves; formed outside of the clips which are fastened to the end parts of the said adornment materials (1) to open or close them (Figure 1 ). The invention, as a novelty, has decorative insertion pieces (2), which are of durable structure and can be multiplied to ensure a variety of design, to which the said adornment materials (1 ) are fastened (Figure 1a). In addition, it has a locking mechanism (3) which is integrated into the situations wherein opening or closing of the adornment embodiment is required; and is compatible with preferably the form of the said decorative insertion piece (2) (Figure

1 b).

As it will be seen from Figure 1a, pin openings (20) have been formed on said decorative insertion piece (2). On the internal surface of the adornment material (1 ), inclined pins (10) have been structured. Pins (10) are passed through the pin openings (20) to fasten them to each other. Subsequently, various methods are applied to that part to reinforce the fastening.

The locking mechanism (3) which is supplied in Figure 1 b comprises mainly; groove piece (31 ); surface plate (311 ) that has surface openings (3110); tenon piece (30); surface plate (301 ) that has locking protrusions (3010); lock head component (40); pivot (5); and spring (6) pieces (Figure 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b). Of said surface plates (301 , 311 ), it has locking protrusions (3010) in form of 'L', which are to be fastened to tenon piece (30). The surface plate (311) which is to be fastened to groove piece (31) on the other hand has surface openings (3110) in dimensions which said locking protrusions (3010) can pass through. Said surface plates (301 , 311) are fastened to the internal faces of the tenon piece and groove pieces (30, 31 ) by welding. Welding spots are later trimmed for an aesthetic appearance to make the surface smooth.

As it will be seen from Figure 2a, the majority of said pivot (5); and the spring (6) are positioned inside of the tenon piece (30). End parts of the pivot (5) have blockers in form of mace to prevent removal of the spring (6). One end of the pivot (5) on the other hand has been fastened inside of the lock head component (40). The tenon piece and groove pieces (31 , 30) have, preferably on their top surfaces, pin openings (302, 312) to allow the pins (10) the adornment material (1 ) to be passed through and fastened. Said lock head component (40) has a concave section (402) in semi-cylindrical form; and a pivot connection opening (401 ) in the middle of the concave section (402) (Figure 4a). In order for the key to stop at a certain point and not to turn round itself infinitely, a convex section (304) in semi-cylindrical form has been structured on the upper surface of said tenon piece (30) to seat on the said concave section (402) in semi-cylindrical form (Figure 2c, Figure 2d). In addition, a pivot joggle (303) in form of a pipe has been structured through which said pivot (5) will pass through (Figure 2d). As a result, the convex section (304) in semi-cylindrical form which tenon piece (30) comprises; and said pivot joggle (303) have been structured as monolithically.

With a more detailed description, operation of the invention is as follows: In a represented application of the invention, a bracelet which can be opened and closed as an adornment embodiment is handled (Figure 1 ). However, with the main logic of the invention, rings, earrings, necklaces and other adornment embodiments can also be designed.

To create the adornment embodiment, the length of the adornment material (1 ) is adjusted according to the desired dimension of the bracelet. Subsequently, adornment material (1 ) is fastened to the decorative insertion pieces (2) which are lined up with a certain distance and in various numbers. In this fastening process, pins (10) which are on the internal surface of the adornment material (1 ) are fastened to the pin openings (20) that are on the decorative insertion pieces (2). In the adornment embodiment that is supplied in Figure 1 ; while an adornment material (1 ) is passed over the decorative insertion piece (2), the adornment material (1 ) that is next to it is passed under the same decorative insertion piece (2). In the same way; while the other decorative insertion piece (2) which is next to the insertion piece (2) is braided, the adornment material (1 ) which is in form of the braided cord coming from the bottom is braided by means of passing it from the top and passing the adornment material (1 ) coming from the top on the other hand from the bottom. Thus, in total, seven adornment material cords (1 ) are braided and the adornment is constituted. When the adornment is desired to be opened or closed, final ends of the adornment material cord (1 ) is fastened to the locking mechanism.

The said locking mechanism (3) operates as follows: When the locking mechanism (3) is desired to be closed, tenon and groove pieces (30, 31 ) are caused to approximate to each other (Figure 5). Lock head component (40) is slightly tracted outwards to the exterior from its position which is in open position (Figure 6), to be switched to closed position (Figure 7). During this traction, the spring (6) which restricts the pivot (5) provides the pivot (5) to move slightly outwards; and the lock head component (40) to be turned to the desired direction thanks to this flexibility. Meanwhile, separation of the convex section (304) from the concave section (402) which it is seated on happens. When the rotation happens and the lock head component (40) has assumed the correct position for closure, the convex section (304) seats in the concave section (402) (Figure 8). Thus, locking occurs. For opening of the locking mechanism (3) on the other hand a completely reverse process is applied.

In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the said fastening process can be done by means of welding the invisible interior spots of the adornment material (1 ) and the decorative insertion piece (2) into each other again in the event that they are selected from precious and/or worthless metal materials.

In an alternative embodiment of the invention, again in the event that the adornment material (1 ) and the decorative insertion piece (2) are selected from precious and/or worthless metal materials, fastening can be ensured with the magnet which is integrated on one of the materials. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, fastening of the adomment material (1 ) and the decorative insertion piece (2) to each other can be done by means of using various chemical adhesives. In an alternative embodiment of the invention, it does not comprise adornment locking mechanism (3); it can also be locked using a different locking system such as magnetic locks.

In an altemative embodiment of the invention, the said adomment material cord(s) (1 ), are not braided, on decorative insertion pieces (2), with the method of passing over from the beneath and the top; can be an unwoven - plain embodiment which is mounted only from the top.

In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the said adornment material (1 ) is not bracelet; it can be necklace, earring, brooch, ring and so on. However in embodiments such as ring and earring, a locking mechanism (3) is not needed.

In an altemative embodiment of the invention, the said decorative insertion pieces (2) can be in various dimensions and in various designs.

In an alternative embodiment of the invention, the adomment material cord (1) to which the said decorative insertion pieces (2) are passed through and fastened can be one cord instead of a strand of cords. It can have a wide length.
