Abstract:
The inventive adsorber comprises a vertical cylindrical body (1), top and bottom lids thereof (2, 3), an inlet nozzle (4), an outlet nozzle (5), a baffler (6) and a hollow cylindrical insert (7) provided with a top end lid (8) and a bottom end lid (9). Said insert is arranged coaxially inside the body in such a way that an annular space (10) is formed, said space being disposed between the cylindrical walls of the insert (7), the body (1) and upper and lower channels (11, 12) in such a way that gas is enabled to pass through. Each channel is connected to the annular space. The baffle (6) is arranged in the hollow of the insert (7) at an angle ranging from 5 to 10 degree in relation to the central axis of the body and divides the hollow of the insert into first and second chambers (13, 14) by gradually reducing the cross-section area of the first chamber from the top downwards and the cross-section of the second chamber from the bottom upwards. At least one orifice is embodied in the lower part of the baffle, thereby enabling the gas to pass from the first chamber to the second chamber. The annular space (10), the internal cavity of the second chamber (14) are successively disposed along the gas flow and filled with adsorbents which have different absorptive capacities with respect to the components of a gas mixture. The structural design of the adsorber ensures the high operating characteristics thereof, in particular high selective absorptive capacity with respect to the different components of the gas mixture, a high recovery factor of a required component during desorption and eases the assembling and transportation of said adsorber.
