Abstract:
Conventional adsorption refrigerators contain six large adsorption reactors and are rather large as a result, causing the problem of requiring a large installation space. This adsorption refrigerator is provided with: an evaporator that generates cold by vaporizing a liquefied refrigerant; a first adsorption reaction unit in which the vaporized refrigerant produced by the evaporator is adsorbed and revaporized; a second adsorption reaction unit in which the vaporized refrigerant produced by the first adsorption reactor is adsorbed and revaporized; and a condenser that cools and thereby liquefies the vaporized refrigerant produced by the second adsorption reaction unit and supplies the liquefied refrigerant to the evaporator; wherein at least one of the first adsorption reaction unit and the second adsorption reaction unit contains two or more adsorption reactors, a first connecting pipe that connects the two adsorption reactors, and a first control valve that controls the opening and closing of the first connecting pipe.
