Provided are an advertisement display method and apparatus for a controllable electronic screen, relating to the field of advertisments. In the display method, display information of content displayed on a target screen is first obtained (S101); according to the display information, target advertisement information corresponding to the display information is found from a broad range of advertisements (S102); each of the advertisement information has different attributes, and the attributes of the target advertisement information are advertisement information matching the display information; then, the target advertisement information is displayed on the target screen (S103). Since the user views the current screen, it is possible to determine that the level of attention paid to, or level of interest in, the content displayed on the current screen is high; hence, the advertisement information, corresponding to the displayed information, that is supplied to the user is more accurate.
