Abstract:
The present invention provides an advertisement display system capable of displaying an advertisement at an appropriate position in a virtual reality space according to the moving speed of an avatar and the avatar's point of view in the virtual reality space. An advertisement display system 1 acquires the coordinates of an avatar and the size of the avatar in a virtual reality space, and calculates the moving speed of the avatar by dividing the coordinate change amount per unit time of the avatar in the virtual reality space by a reference amount corresponding to the size of the avatar. The advertisement display system determines whether the point of view of the avatar in the virtual reality space is set to a first-person point of view or a third-person point of view. When the avatar is moving in the virtual reality space, the advertisement display system performs control for varying a position in the virtual reality space at which an advertisement is displayed to a user operating the avatar according to the moving speed of the avatar and the avatar's point of view.
