Abstract:
The present invention relates to an advertisement ring-back-tone service technique in which, when an originating terminal makes a call in an Internet telephone service, an advertisement ring-back-tone is provided to the originating terminal before the call is connected. According to the present invention, the advertisement ring-back-tone is provided in place of the ring back tone of an Internet telephone, so that it is possible to reduce the communication fee imposed on the users who have joined in the advertisement ring-back-tone service. In addition, according to the present invention, it is neither required to get permission from an Internet telephone provider nor to make a contract in any way in order to run an advertisement ring-back-tone service business, which is very advantageous in performing an advertisement service. Further, although an advertisement server is down due to a problem caused in an advertisement ring-back-tone service provider network, or although the advertisement server is temporality interrupted for maintenance and repairs including system upgrades, there is no problem with the Internet telephone service.
