Description:

ADVERTISING BOARD

The subject of the invention is a device for forming picture, advertising board, which device makes possible the creation of an optical effect of pictures composed of picture points applied at picture visualiziήgs produced with traditional press methods with the help of colourful image- visualization elements placed in a hold. ' *" '

There are several solutions for depicting advertisements, information. We have a wide range of possibilities to visualize information besides electronic visualization through posters produced typographically. Nowadays visualization of information, placing advertisements has grown into a separate branch of industry, which has been continuously producing newer and newer solutions in order to ensure that the visualized information, advertisements could attract the viewers' attention more and more and the information could be better fixed in memory. In most cases placing advertisements is a very expensive solution. Electric projectors make however possible the quick change of the information to be visualized, but their installation and maintenance is very expensive. The big-size billboards, which are the most widely spread nowadays ensure a really spectacular attractive surface, but production and application of the information to be visualized is very high-priced and practical realization is very laborious.

The HU 2369 utility sample makes known equipment in the state of the art for visualizing dynamically changing visual information, mainly for advertisements. It is provided with a primary surface fixed in a first plane for showing the information, and minimum one secondary surface for showing the information laid out mobile in the plane with an activating organ. The secondary surface is realized by an endless foil guided movably on a forced trajectory on which minimum one motif visually modifying the information placed in primary surface is fixed.

The patent HU 213 133 makes known a billboard showing array of pictures, animation. The solution is an electromechanical structure, which can show six different visual information in a formerly determined, fixed pace, visual mode, repeating it periodically.

Corresponding with the required surface it consists of an optional number of modul- assembled picture-tracks visualizing units placed horizontally or vertically (depending on the main direction of animation) with parallel axles. The engine drives spin with synch or phase-shift the units driving the module-units visualizing the picture-tracks, which spin the turning section, which make three pieces of lamellas to advance around the axles of the unit, both sides of which depict picture-tracks. Switching of the lamellas takes place moving along the line determined by the leading groove, connecting temporarily with the rotating parts. Going along the line they turn into a visible common picture, creating the picture from the actual picture-track elements.

The disadvantage of the solutions used in practice and those made known above is, that their installation and maintenance is pricey and complicated.

When working out the solution according to the invention we aimed to produce a device of visualization, which offers a possibility for mainly the big-size billboards known in advertising industry to change their content quickly, unlike in case of the known technologies after their setting up without additional substantial or financial expenditures.

When working out the solution, we realized, that in case a hollow storing system made of a transparent material is made in such a way, that colourful image-visualization elements are placed in the tightly adjoining parallel hollows in conformity with the picture points creating the picture, then the set aim can be achieved.

The invention is a device for forming picture, advertising board, consisting of image visualizing elements arrayed in adjoining pillars and rows, and the device for forming picture has adjoining filling channels formed paralell along the plane or arch shape surface, and the visualizing elements are placed in the filling channels.

In one preferred embodiment of the solution according to the invention the filling channels of the device for forming picture are placed vertically, or horizontally, or slanting.

In another preferred embodiment of the solution according to the invention the visualizing elements are spherical bodies, preferably colorful balls.

In a further preferred embodiment of the solution according to I- the invention the visualizing elements placed in the filling channels of the device for forming picture are filled in according to a pre-planned system in accordance with the picture points of the picture to be visualized.

In a further preferred embodiment of the solution according to the invention the device for forming picure is made as partial units that can be connected, and the connection of certain parts takes place by fixing the joining part formed on the device for forming picture into the house.

In a further preferred embodiment of the solution according to the invention the material of the device for forming picture is a transparent material, in given case plastic or glass.

In a further preferred embodiment of the solution according to the invention the material of the visualizing element applied as image- visualizing element is plastic, or glass, or metal, or wood.

In a further preferred embodiment of the solution according to the invention the filling channels of the device for forming picture are formed in a preferable concrete realization from adjacent, individual tubes.

In a further preferred embodiment of the solution according to the invention there are several filling channels next to each other, reploted, formed as a single unit, which are placed in given case next to each other, or above each other in a multiplied way.

The solution according to the invention is furthermore set forth by the enclosed drawings:

The Fig 1 shows the view of the device for forming picture according to the invention with the picture created by the filled in visualizing elements.

The Fig 2 shows the cross-section of the device for forming picture according to the invention with the adjoining filling channels and the visualizing elements in them. The Fig 3 shows the top view of the device for forming picture according to the invention in empty state, showing the assembly of the visualizing modules.

The Fig 1 shows the view of the device for forming picture according to the invention with the picture created by the filled in visualizing elements. In the picture the filling channels 3 laid out in given case in vertical pillars in the device for forming picture 1 containing the visualizing elements 2 of different colors. The filling of the colorful visualizing elements 2 into the filling channel 3 takes place in such a way, that in conformity with the color of the picture points of the picture to be visualized the visualizing elements 2 are filled in in the proper order and place. When visualizing the number '12' shown in the picture, two different color visualizing elements 2 are used. The digit was formed with the help of the hatched visualizing elements 2, whereas the other visualizing elements 2 created the background color, respectively they ensure as support elements, that the visualizing elements 2 of the digit always stay in the proper position, they do not shift away. In case the device for forming picture 1 is not further reploted, the filling channels 3 are closed at the bottom to prevent the visualizing elements 2 to fall out, and makes possible the removal of the visualizing elements 2.

The Fig 2 shows the cross-section of the device for forming picture 1 according to the invention with the adjoining filling channels and the visualizing elements 2 in them. In the picture the device for forming picture 1 and the filling channel 3 in the device for forming picture 1 can be seen. The visualizing elements 2 are filled in closely following each other into the closely adjoining filling channels 3. The determination of the measurement of the filling channel 3 and that of the visualizing element 2 takes place in such a way, that during filling the visualizing element 2 can easily advance in the filling

channel 3, however the visualizing elements 2 can move aslope in the filling channel 3 the least possible.

The Fig 3 shows the top views of the device for forming picture 1 according to the invention in empty state, showing the assembly of the visualizing modules. In the picture the device for forming picture 1 can be seen with the lulling channels 3 created in them. It can be seen in the picture^ that the devices for forming pictures 1 can join each other in an easy way, so they can be enlarged optionally. Joining of the devices for forming pictures 1 each other can take place in such a way, that at one end of the device for forming picture 1 there is a house 4, and the joining part 5 of the other device for forming picture 1 is connected to it. It is possible by this connection, that the filling channels 3 of the two devices for forming pictures 1 create the persistent part of each other. It is possible by this solution to connect smaller size devices for forming pictures 1 to make optional size device for forming pictures 1.

In a preferable concrete realization of the solution according to the invention the color area division of the picture to be visualized is designed first graphically, or with the help of a computer. Following this it can be accurately calculated the sequence of the colors of the visualizing elements 2 to be put into each filling channel 3. In case a smaller device for forming picture 1 is sufficient for visualizing the picture, then the filling can be started. In case a bigger area picture should be realized with the device according to the invention, then it is necessary to connect or place next to each other more devices for forming pictures 1.

Filling of the colorful visualizing elements 2 into the filling channels 3 starts at the upper part of the device for forming picture 1. This procedure is repeated as long as all the fillin *gto channels 3 are filled.

The essence of the application of the device is, that with the help of a special program (depending on the quality of the picture to be visualized) the points of the picture divided into points are replaced by visualizing picture elements of different color, then

these visualizing picture elements conforming with the picture points are filled into the filling channels 3 of the device for forming picture 1 on basis of a row-defining plan manually or with a filling structure created for this purpose. After filling in the device for forming picture 1 the filled in colorful visualizing elements, assemble into the required picture viewing from a proper distance.

Filling in can take place in different ways. In case of smaller size, easily accessible 'boards' manual filling is possible, or with a bogie filling in device placed on a rail above the storing system the same way as with the pneumatic filling system created for the big-size billboards to be forwarded through a pipe. During the filling it is preferable to use pre-assembled storing cartridges, in conformity with the single picture-rows, from which the visualizing elements 2 are filled into the filling channels 3 of the device for forming picture 1 in the spot.

The filling channels 3 of the device for forming picture 1 are formed in vertical, or horizontal, or slanting direction depending on the concrete application, and their filling takes place accordingly.

The material of the device for forming picture 1 in a concrete application is a transparent material: plastic, or glass. The material of the visualizing element 2 is plastic, or glass, or wood. The filling channels 3 of the device for forming picture 1 according to the invention in a preferable concrete realization are formed from single tubes placed next to each other. In case of a further preferable realization several adjoining filling channels 3 are reploted, next to each other formed as one unit, which can be placed in given case next to each other or above each other in a multiplied way.

The device for forming picture according to the invention can not be only a closed tube system and filling of the visualizing elements 2 can not only take place from the top. Filling is furthermore possible for example from cartridges pre-filled on a site. The visualizing elements 2, in given case balls can be place not only as individual elements, but strung, or snapped into a nest as well. The field of application is not limited to

boards, but it appropriate for creating pictures of big size, for example making advertisements, welcome texts that can be viewed from mid-air near airports. A further application can be on aquatic shows as spectacular element, realized from elements floating on water in strung version.

The advantage of the solution according to the invention is, that it considerably decreases the costs of the very expensive typographic production. In case of individual orders, or small-size orders the pricey production costs can be substantially reduced. In case of the solution according to the invention additional financial expenditures are required following the first investment merely for graphic and filling jobs. The content can be optionally changed any time even within a few hours.
