Abstract:
An advertising and informing device has an announcement place determination section
(101) for determining whether information on the current position of a vehicle
acquired by using a GPS receiver unit (110) etc. corresponds to place information
stored in a place information table (202); a message playback section (102) that,
when the result of the determination by the announcement place determination section
(101) is affirmative, reads advertising message from a message storage region
(203) and plays back the message; and a sound output unit (170) for outputting by
sound the advertising message played back by the message playback section (102)
to the outside of the vehicle. The advertising and informing device and an advertising
and informing method are suitable for use by agents who transfer and handle articles.
