Abstract:
An aerial display apparatus includes: a display element (20) that displays an image; an optical element (40) that is disposed to receive light from the display element (20), and forms an aerial image by reflecting the light from the display element (20) toward a side opposite to the display element (20); and a sensing device (50) disposed outside a region which is between the display element (20) and the optical element (40) and occupied by the optical element (40). The sensing device (50) includes a light source unit (52) that emits infrared light toward the optical element (40), and a plurality of cameras (53) that detect the infrared light sequentially reflected by an object and the optical element (40).
