Abstract:
An aerial vehicle according to the present invention includes: a main body; a plurality of arms connected to the main body; motors provided to ends of each of the plurality of arms; propellers turned by the motors; a weight; a displacement mechanism which displaces the weight; a detection unit which detects the rotational speed of the propellers provided to ends of each of the plurality of arms; and a control unit which determines whether or not the rotational speed of any of the propellers has fallen to or below a prescribed threshold value on the basis of the rotational speed of the propellers detected by the detection unit, and, if the rotational speed of any of the propellers has been determined to have fallen to or below the prescribed threshold value, controls the displacement mechanism so as to displace the weight in order to decrease tilting of the main body due to the rotational speed having fallen to or below the prescribed threshold value.
