Title:
AEROPLANE DEMOLITION METHOD
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/069035
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to achieve a demolition method with which an aeroplane can be swiftly demolished and resources therein can be effectively reclaimed for use. The present invention is provided with: an excision step in which horizontal and vertical wings are cut and removed from a torso part of an aeroplane airframe; a crushing step in which an outer peripheral surface of the torso part having had the wings cut and removed therefrom is sequentially crushed from one end thereof in the length direction to the other end thereof; and a cutting step in which a crushed article compressed in the crushing step is cut to an arbitrary length in the length direction to form a lump of scrap material. The crushing step is provided with: a first crushing step in which a wedge-shaped pressing piece is used to apply a pressing force, towards the centre of the torso part, to at least one place on the periphery of at least one of a plurality of annular frame members of the torso part, said annular frame members being arranged in the length direction; and a second crushing step, in which, after the first crushing step, pressing forces are simultaneous applied to the torso part from two directions intersecting, at a torso-part centre position, the direction in which the pressing force is applied by the wedge-shaped pressing piece.
