Abstract:
This aerosol can body is configured such that in order to improve the buckling strength of the aerosol can body having a corrugated machined part on a trunk part, a lower end opening to which a bottom lid (4) is attached is formed at one end of a trunk part (2) formed into a seamless cylindrical shape by a steel sheet, a dome-shaped shoulder (3) forming a circular arc in section is formed at the other end of the trunk part (2) so as to be continuous from the trunk part (2), an opening curl (5) having a diameter less than that of a lower end opening (Ob) is formed on the tip center of the shoulder (3), and a corrugated machined part (6) corrugatedly deformed in the wall thickness direction of the trunk part (2) is formed between the upper end of the trunk part (2) on the shoulder (3) side and the lower end on the lower end opening side. An upper region (A), which has a prescribed width in the axial direction of the trunk part (2), and which includes the upper end of the corrugated machined part (6), is provided to the upper part of the trunk part (2). The Vickers hardness of at least the upper region (A) of the trunk part (2) is 200 Hv-250 Hv.
