An aerosol composition for pest control containing an essential oil component, which is an insecticidal component, and a propellant, wherein the essential oil component content of the aerosol composition for pest control is is 0.05 mass/vol% or less, the propellant contains hydrofluoroolefin and a low-density propellant having a liquid density of less than 1 (g/mL), and the aerosol composition density at 20°C is 1 (g/mL) or less.
