Abstract:
An aerosol generating device (100) and a control method thereof, relating to the field of smoking sets. The aerosol generating device (100) comprises a housing (10) provided with a through hole (101) and an air inlet (102); a chamber (11), wherein an aerosol-forming substrate can be received in the chamber (11) or removed from the chamber (11) through the through hole (101); a heater (12), wherein the heater is used for heating the aerosol-forming substrate received in the chamber (11); a heat discharging device (16), wherein the heat discharging device is arranged in a gas flowing path extending between the air inlet (102) and the through hole (101); and a circuit (14), wherein the circuit is configured to, after the heater (12) starts heating up and before the heater (12) enters a suction phase, control the heat discharging device (16) to start operation so as to discharge hot air generated by heating out of the housing (10) along the gas flowing path. Before a smoker sucks the aerosol generating device (100), the aerosol containing water vapour is discharged out of the housing (10) by means of the heat discharging device (16), thereby avoiding the problem of the smoker experiencing a burning pain caused by a relatively high temperature of smoke when taking a first suction, and thus improving the user's smoking experience.
