Abstract:
An aerosol generating device (200) and an extraction method, for use in enabling an aerosol generating product (1) to generate an aerosol. The aerosol generating product (1) comprises a first segment (11) and a second segment (12); the second segment (12) is exposed outside the aerosol generating device (200) when in use. The aerosol generating device (200) comprises a main body (2), the main body (2) comprising: a housing (21), which defines a receiving cavity (29) for accommodating the first segment (11); a heater (22) for heating the aerosol generating product (1) to generate an aerosol; and a protector (23), which moves from a first position to a second position along with the first segment (11) in response to an extraction force applied to the second segment (12), wherein the first position is a stroke start point of the protector (23) in the aerosol generating device (200), and the second position is a stroke end point of the protector (23) in the aerosol generating device (200).
