Abstract:
An aerosol generating device according to the present embodiment can measure the current temperature of a heater before power is supplied to the heater for heating an aerosol generating material, and set preheating completion parameters on the basis of the measured current temperature and a value of necessary heat to be supplied to the aerosol generating material in order to sufficiently generate aerosol. The aerosol generating device can control, on the basis of the preheating completion parameters, the power supplied to the heater such that a value of supply heat to be supplied to the aerosol generating material by the heater reaches the necessary heat value.
