Abstract:
An aerosol generating device comprises: a cavity into which a cigarette is inserted; a light source for emitting light at the cigarette inserted into the cavity; a reuse detection sensor for receiving the light reflected by the cigarette; a heater for heating the cigarette inserted into the cavity; and a control unit, wherein the control unit can determine whether a heater operates on the basis of the change rate of a sensing value received from the reuse detection sensor.
