Abstract:
An aerosol generating device according to the present application comprises: a case; a cover which has a metallic body and can be coupled to the case; a heating part for heating an aerosol generating material; a magnetic force generating part which is disposed in the case and generates a magnetic force for the metallic body according to currents applied thereto; and a control part for controlling the currents applied to the magnetic force generating part on the basis of an operational status of the heating part, thereby controlling the coupling force between the cover and the case arising due to the magnetic force.
