Title:
AFFINITY CARRIER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2007/142331
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed is an organic-polymer-gel-like affinity carrier having such a bicontinuous structure that micrometer-sized pores are arranged continuously in a three-dimensional network structure. The affinity carrier comprises a copolymer composed of at least one member selected from a vinyl monomer compound having at least two functionalities as a crosslinking agent, at least one member selected from a methacrylate compound and an acrylate compound, at least one unifunctional hydrophilic monomer as a ligand-carrying monomer, and at least one unifunctional thinning monomer as a thinning agent ("an agent for adjusting hydrophilicity/hydrophobicity")for arbitrarily adjusting the condition of a ligand to be carried on the ligand-carrying monomer, wherein the ratio between the crosslinking agent and the copolymer of the unifunctional hydrophilic monomer and the unifunctional thinning monomer is 100-10:0-90 by volume.
