Title:
AGENT FOR ACTIVATING OR SUPPRESSING CELL-TO-CELL COMMUNICATION THROUGH FUNCTIONAL PROTEIN, ANTIBODY OR APTAMER, METHOD FOR SCREENING FOR SAID AGENT, FUSION PROTEIN, NUCLEIC ACID ENCODING SAID FUSION PROTEIN, RECOMBINANT VECTOR, TRANSFORMED HOST CELL, EXOSOME FUNCTION MODULATOR, AND EXOSOME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/045349
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: an agent for activating or suppressing a cell-to-cell communication through a functional protein, which can modify a cell-to-cell communication; an antibody or an aptamer which can be used in the agent; a method for screening for the agent; a fusion protein capable of modifying an exosome; a nucleic acid encoding the fusion protein; a recombinant vector carrying the nucleic acid; a host cell transformed with the recombinant vector; an exosome function modulator comprising the fusion protein or the nucleic acid; and an exosome comprising the fusion protein. An agent for activating or suppressing a cell-to-cell communication through a functional protein, the agent comprising a substance capable of increasing or decreasing the expression of UBL3 gene or UBL3 protein or a substance capable of enhancing or inhibiting the activity of UBL3 protein. A method for screening for the agent by employing, as a measure, the occurrence of change in the expression of UBL3 gene or UBL3 protein by a candidate substance or the occurrence of change in the activity of UBL3 protein by a candidate substance. A fusion protein composed of UBL3 protein and a functional protein; a nucleic acid encoding the fusion protein; a recombinant vector carrying the nucleic acid; a host cell transformed with the recombinant vector; an exosome function modulator comprising the fusion protein or the nucleic acid; and an exosome including the fusion protein in such a state that the functional protein can exhibit the function thereof.
