Abstract:
In the present invention, an expression vector that promotes lysosome uptake of a target nucleic acid and identifies a protein that induces degradation of an abnormal nucleic acid, or includes the genes encoding the same, has been developed using RNautophagy/DNautophagy. The expression vector is provided as an active ingredient of an antiviral agent or a therapeutic agent for repeat expansion disorder, and the like. The expression vector including, in a state capable of expression, SIDT2 protein, an active mutant thereof, or polynucleotides encoding active fragments of the same, is provided as an agent for inducing abnormal nucleic acid degradation.
