Abstract:
Disclosed are an agent for purifying contaminated soil which is suitable for in-situ purification and has an improved ability to remove contaminants compared to the existing purifying agents; and a method for purifying contaminants.
An agent for purifying contaminants that is an agent for purifying contaminated soil by which contaminants in contaminated soil are removed and thus the contaminated soil is purified, comprising penetrative water comprising ionized water and a powder mixture. The powder mixture comprises: (1) an active carbon powder which has a large number of micropores and shows a specific surface area of 1000 m2/g or more; (2) a zeolite powder which at least contains aluminum, silica and an alkali metal; and (3) a silicide-based compound powder which comprises magnesium silicide and/or β-iron silicide.
