Abstract:

Disclosed is an agent for reducing a harmful effect of a herbicide, which is quite suitable for reducing a harmful effect of a herbicide against a cultivated plant without deteriorating the herbicidal effect of the herbicide. An agent for reducing a harmful effect of a herbicide comprising a phenylsulfonylcarbamate derivative represented by the general formula (I) or a salt thereof a an active ingredient: [I] wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-C6 alkyl group or any other substituent recited in the description; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-C12 alkyl group or any other substituent recited in the description; R3 represents a hydrogen atom, a C1-C6 alkyl group or any other substituent recited in the description; Y represents a halogen atom, a nitro group or any other substituent recited in the description; R4 and R5 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a C1-C6 alkyl group; n represents an integer of 0 to 4; and X and Z independently represent an oxygen or sulfur atom.
