Abstract:
Disclosed are: aggregates of collagen fibers in each of which little gelatin structure is contained and a collagen structure is substantially maintained, and each of which has a fiber diameter of 10 nm to 1 μm inclusive; and a process for producing the aggregates. The process for producing the aggregates of collagen fibers is characterized by comprising the steps of: dissolving collagen in an aqueous organic acid solution containing no halogen atom in the molecular structure thereof to prepare a collagen solution; and carrying out spinning through a charge spinning process using the collagen solution.
