Abstract:
Provided is an air bag device adapted to be mounted on a vehicle provided with a front seat (10) and a rear seat (30), which are arranged at a distance from each other in the front-rear direction of the vehicle, the front seat (10) being provided with a reclining mechanism (16) for allowing the seat back (10B) to pivot about a reclining pivot shaft (15). The air bag device is provided with an air bag (24) which expands from the rear surface of the seat back (10B) of the front seat (10) toward the rear seat (30). In an expanded state of the air bag (24), at least the rear upper section of the air bag (24) has a circular arc shape centered on the reclining pivot shaft (15) in a side view of the vehicle.
