Abstract:
Disclosed is an air battery provided with: a main body having an outer casing, an electrolyte housed in said outer casing, a positive electrode including a positive electrode catalyst in contact with said electrolyte, and a negative electrode in contact with said electrolyte; a tank for storing the electrolyte; a pump for circulating the electrolyte between the main unit and the tank; an oxygen introduction unit for introducing oxygen into the electrolyte disposed in the circulation path of the electrolyte; and a pipe for connecting the tank, the pump, the oxygen introduction unit and the main unit so as to circulate the electrolyte in that order. The oxygen introduction unit has an oxygen-selective permeable membrane.
