Title:
AIR BLADDER FOR SAFETY TIRE
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2004/108437
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
An air bladder (2) for a safety tire, wherein a tension curve against an extension rate up to the extension rate of 50% is formed, in the crown area (5) of an expanded/deformed portion (3), in a hook shape varying from a sharp linear shape to a generally flat linear shape near a specified extension rate. In side areas (6), the tension curve is formed in a rightward rising shape in which a tension is smoothly increased according to an increase in extension rate. Thus, the air bladder can be manufactured at a high productivity, the expanded/deformed portion is not brought into contact with the inner surface of the tire during the normal running of the tire and allowed to be uniformly fitted to the inner surface of the tire during the run-flat running.
