Abstract:
The invention relates to a rapid-action air bleeding mechanism (1) for heating systems containing a heat transfer liquid. Said mechanism comprises a float (3) situated in an air bleeding housing (2), in addition to an air equalisation valve (5), located above the float (3) and coupled to the latter by means of an actuating mechanism (4). The air bleeding housing (2) comprises a connection (2b) linking said housing to the heating system. A protective element (6) for shielding the air equalisation valve (5) at least against dirt particles that are contained in the liquid is located between the float (3) and the air equalisation valve (5).
