Abstract:
An air blower device is provided with: a motor support member (313) for supporting a motor (310) and affixed to the lower surface of a casing (312); and a connector (4) having therein a connection terminal (40) through which an electric current flows and installed below the casing. The air blower device is further provided with: a vertically and circumferentially extending first shield wall section (52) located on the outside of and at a distance from the outer peripheral wall section (3132) of the motor support member; a groove section (53) connecting the motor support member and the first shield wall section; and a cover member (5) for covering an area above the connector. The cover member is integrally provided to the outside of the first shield wall section. The groove section has a greater circumferential length than the connector. One of the opposite ends of the groove section is located on the outside circumferentially of each of both ends of the connector.
