An air blower is provided with a casing on which at least a blowing port is formed, an impeller that is arranged on an air duct formed inside the casing, and a motor for driving the impeller. The impeller has a plurality of blade members each of which is arranged along a rotating shaft on circumference about the rotating shaft, and a connecting part that supports the plurality of blade members at the ends thereof in a direction along the rotating shaft. The casing is provided with a tongue part that is arranged adjacent to a part of an outer periphery of the impeller, a stabilizer that is arranged at a position facing the tongue part and partitions the air duct into a suction-side air duct and a blowing-side air duct, and a surrounding part that is provided along the rotating shaft of the impeller and covers the outer periphery of the impeller. At a portion other than the surrounding part in the casing, an exposure part that serves as a first sucking port that exposes the outer periphery of the impeller is formed. In a rotating-shaft direction in the impeller, an opening part that serves as a second sucking port is formed.
