Abstract:
Provided is an air blowing device which is easy to carry around and is very convenient, and is constructed such that charged particles can be radiated with little adverse effect on the blowing function, while ensuring safety. A fan (4) connected to an output shaft (33a) of a motor (33) is rotationally driven by the motor (33), thereby blowing air. The motor (33) is housed in a motor housing part (3), and a fan cover rear part (72), which forms a flange shape that covers the outer circumferential part of the fan (4) and the side part thereof on the motor (33) side, is affixed to an end of the motor housing part on the output shaft (33a) side. A handle (2) is provided on the outer surface of the motor housing part (3), rising from the outer surface midway along the length of the output shaft (33a) in the axial direction, and the fan cover rear part (72) has a tapered part (T) which faces the handle (2) and the outer circumference of which slants toward the fan (4). A flow channel (25) that guides air is provided in the middle part of the handle (2), and an ion generator (9), which generates positive and negative ions which are emitted in the flow channel (25), is mounted inside the base end of the handle (2).
