Provided is an air cleaner capable of efficiently cleaning air around people in an indoor space while suppressing operating noise. An air cleaner 1 is provided with a casing 2, an intake port 4, a first discharge port 5A, a second discharge port 5B, a first blowing means 6A, a second blowing means 6B, a movable louver 9, a flow regulating mechanism 13, a horizontal rotating mechanism 15, an infrared sensor 40, and a control means 23. The control means 23 drives the movable louver 9, the flow regulating mechanism 13, and the horizontal rotating mechanism 15 to control the direction of air discharged from each of the first discharge port 5A and the second discharge port 5B. In said air direction control, the infrared sensor 40 detects a plurality of directions in which people are present, and the direction of the discharged air is directed toward each of the directions in which people are present. At such time, a rotation speed control is executed such that the rotation speeds of motors 62A, 62B of the first blowing means 6A and the second blowing means 6B are different.
