Abstract:
Provided is an air cleaner which can prevent or reduce an air-blowing operation in a direction in which the efficiency of blowing clean air is reduced. Thus, an air cleaner (1) comprises: a body case (10); an electric blower (50) for taking air into the body case; an air cleaning means for cleaning the air taken by the electric blower; a body rotation mechanism (80) for rotating the body case in a horizontal direction; a control unit (60) for controlling a rotation operation of the body rotation mechanism and the electric blower; and a rotation range setting unit (61) for setting a rotation angle range within which the body rotation mechanism rotates the body case. The control unit (60) operates the body rotation mechanism (80) so as to rotate the body case (10) over the rotation angle range set by the rotation range setting unit (61).
