Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to improve the external appearance of an air cleaning device. An air cleaning device 10 takes in outside air from underneath, filters same with a filter unit 40, then discharges same to the outside. The invention comprises: an air intake passage 16 that is formed as a tunnel-shaped passage passing through the bottom section of a main casing 12; an air passage 42 that is connected to the air intake passage 16 from above and that extends upward in the main casing; and a lighting unit 34 that is provided in the upper rear part of the air intake passage 16 and that emits light from almost the entirety of the width of the air intake passage toward the bottom and the front.
