Abstract:
Disclosed is a chiller-type air conditioner that can perform a dehumidifying operation with one refrigeration cycle without increasing equipment cost. The air conditioner is provided with an air-conditioning refrigerant pathway (5) that switches between a cooling operation and a heating operation, and an air-conditioning heat-transport-medium circulation pathway (8) that air conditions a space (60) to be cooled; the air-conditioning refrigerant pathway is provided with a connection switching means (34a, 34b) that is for switching the connection of a first air-conditioning use-side heat exchanger (28a) and a second air-conditioning use-side heat exchanger (28b) between a series connection and a parallel connection; and a second air-conditioning expansion valve is provided positioned between the first air-conditioning use-side heat exchanger and the second air-conditioning use-side heat exchanger. The air-conditioning heat-transport-medium circulation pathway (8) is provided with: a first air-conditioning heat-transport-medium pathway (8a) formed in a loop by connecting the first air-conditioning use-side heat exchanger and a first interior heat exchanger (61a) with pipework; and a second air-conditioning heat-transport-medium pathway (8b) formed in a loop by connecting the second air-conditioning use-side heat exchanger and a second interior heat exchanger (61b) with pipework.
