Abstract:
The present invention provides an air conditioner and a control method therefor. The air conditioner comprises an air conditioner body, a structure for placing objects to be air-dried, an air discharge assembly, and a force detection module, wherein the air discharge assembly is used for retracting to an air outlet or extending out of the air outlet and guiding an air flow of the air outlet to the structure for placing objects; and the force detection module is located on the structure for placing objects and is used to detect a force received by the structure for placing objects. When the force detection module does not detect a force, a control module is used to control the air discharge assembly to retract to the air outlet; and when the force detection module detects a force, the control module is used to control the air discharge assembly to extend out of the air outlet and guide the air flow of the air outlet to the structure for placing objects, and control the air conditioner body to operate in a heating mode or an air supply mode. Therefore, the present invention can achieve normal air discharge of the air conditioner, or control the air discharge assembly to extend out of the air outlet and guide the air flow of the air outlet to the structure for placing objects, so that an air-drying function is implemented, and the air-drying efficiency of objects to be air-dried can be greatly improved.
