Abstract:
The disclosed air conditioner comprises: an indoor unit including an expansion valve and an indoor heat exchanger; a compressor for supplying a refrigerant to the indoor unit; a compressor inlet pressure sensor for detecting compressor inlet pressure corresponding to the pressure of the refrigerant, which flows into the compressor from an accumulator; and a control unit for controlling the size of the opening of the indoor unit expansion valve on the basis of the compressor inlet pressure during a defrosting operation.
